The High School Team Camp* is designed as a preseason training ground for high school teams preparing for the Fall 2010 season. The program will consist of three training and three exhibition match session versus other high schools at camp. Training sessions can be catered to team needs. Each team will be provided with soccer balls to use for the weekend and each player will receive an Oakland Soccer Camp T-Shirt.
The camp, which costs $215 per player for resident teams, or $165 per player for non-resident teams (non-resident teams do not receive meals or rooms), will begin with check-in on Friday, July 23, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. at the OU Athletics Center and will conclude with check-out on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the residence hall.
Applications for the High School Team Camp will be taken on a group basis only, with a minimum of 14 players per team. Up to two high school coaches will receive free room and board for the weekend (resident teams only). A $200 non-refundable deposit is required for the team and must be mailed with the application.One coach must be with the players at all times during camp.
Coaches are responsible for the collection of all player tuition fees and need to submit all player payments by the start of camp. Medical forms are included in the H.S. Team Camp link under Information Packets on the right side on this page. Each player must have completed a medical form that has been signed by his parent in order to participate in camp. Blank dormitory roster forms are also included in this packet and they must be completed by the coach/manager by the start of camp.
*This camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by age, gender and number of entrants.
